Joshua T. George — the credential
- 7th-degree black belt, master instructor, TEDx speaker, and author of Fear No Conversation (Greenleaf Book Group, June 2027)
Joshua T. George has spent thirty-five years on the mat.
As a 7th-degree black belt and master examiner, he has graded and taught practitioners at every level, and watched the same thing hold true at all of them: the best people in the room are rarely the ones who win the most exchanges. They are the ones who never end up in them. Distance, timing, and composure do the work that force otherwise has to.
That turns out to describe hard conversations exactly. Most people treat them as something to win. The alternative is to need far fewer of them.
His book, Fear No Conversation, will be published by Greenleaf Book Group in June 2027. He speaks at conferences, associations, and leadership events, and runs Present Under Pressure for teams who have to think and speak while the room is watching.
Robert J. Diamant — the credential
- 5th-Degree Black Belt | 35+ Years Teaching & Operating Martial Arts Schools | Former Resort Executive | Corporate Trainer
Bob Diamant has spent more than 35 years teaching, leading, and building organizations in environments where communication, judgment, and performance matter.
A 5th-degree black belt, educator, entrepreneur, and former corporate executive, his experience spans both the dojo and the boardroom.
Bob’s martial arts career extends across more than three decades of training, teaching, and operating martial arts schools. He has trained civilians, law enforcement, and military personnel, and developed programs in self-defense, anti-bullying, confidence-building, foster care and personal development for people from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. His experience as both an instructor and school owner required him not only to teach physical skills, but to help people make decisions, manage fear, and perform effectively under pressure.
For more than two decades, Bob also owned and operated a company whose teams worked around the clock inside many of Las Vegas’s largest resort corporations. Meeting the 24/7 demands of those properties required him to work closely with senior corporate leadership while managing staffing, performance, competing priorities, and the realities of operating within complex organizations. Those relationships demanded constant communication, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving at the executive level.
Today, Bob brings those experiences together in workshops focused on difficult conversations, emotional pressure, and maintaining a clear objective when communication becomes challenging. Drawing from decades of experience in both martial arts and business, he helps individuals and teams recognize when emotion begins to take control of a conversation, regain awareness of what they are trying to accomplish, and respond with greater clarity, discipline, and intention.
Believing Through Achieving
Joshua T. George founded Believing Through Achieving, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings martial arts instruction to autistic and neurodivergent learners.
Joshua T. George created the ACHIEVE Method through this nonprofit work. It is a sensory-integration approach to martial arts instruction for autistic and neurodivergent learners.
The work is a distinct part of Josh’s expertise: adapting instruction to the learner, treating regulation as part of performance, and teaching a physical skill without assuming that one explanation works for every nervous system.
The ACHIEVE Method
Created by Josh, the ACHIEVE Method is a sensory-integration approach to martial arts instruction. It asks practical questions that apply well beyond the training floor:
- What can the learner process right now? Instruction has to fit the person receiving it.
- What is the environment asking of their nervous system? Context changes what performance is possible.
- How can the skill become repeatable? Progress depends on practice that remains usable under pressure.
